If you need help

TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION

We offer temporary accommodation in social facilities and in holiday resorts. Please note that these are established for temporary stay with limited comfort. Rooms have multiple beds, and restrooms serve multiple rooms. We are actively working on extending the capacities.

Please provide us with some information about your application:

  1. When and where do you arrive (if you have already arrived, where are you now)?
  2. With how many people do you wish to stay?
  3. How many children are coming with you?
  4. Do you need help to get to the accommodation?
  5. Your name and phone number to get in touch

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Budapest’s public transport network is free of charge for refugees from Ukraine (with the exception of airport shuttle bus 100E, Budapest Castle Hill Funicular, nostalgia rides and boats).

Acceptable documents:

  1. Ukrainian passport
  2. Ukrainian ID card
  3. residence permit for Ukraine
  4. student card or certificate for nationals of third countries who were studying in Ukraine
  5. other documentation for nationals of third countries in which their Ukrainian address is displayed

INFORMATION

In Hungarian or in English you can get any information about the city or about our help immediately via phone. If you contact us in Ukrainian or in Russian, we can call you back, or answer your request in writing. We answer requests in working hours – on Mondays and Wednesdays between 8:00 and 18:00, on Thuesdays and Thursdays between 8:00 and 16:30, and between 8:00 and 14:00 on Fridays.

If you get in touch outside working hours, we will answer them on the next day.
If you send us your phone number, we will call you back.

We use the money donated solely to cover the expenses of helping refugees from Ukraine.
